Short Biography

Peg Donahue is the Owner of Peg’s Home Staging Solutions, and has been decorating and staging homes and private yachts for many years.  She has also successfully staged 3 of her own homes and several other private mega yachts.  All sold quickly and close to their asking prices. 

Her own townhouse actually went into a bidding war and sold for more than her listing price.  After this townhouse sold in a matter of weeks, and her next home sold just as quickly for over $1 million in a tough market, Peg’s Realtor encouraged her to pursue home staging as a full-time business and career. 

Over the years Peg has helped many friends with remodeling projects, organizing projects, and de-cluttering projects.  Today, still more friends, and friends of friends, beg her to help them too.

One redesign and home staging project that Peg completed was to refresh and redecorate an older yacht and prepare it for the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show, and after the show was completed, to have it ready for the Winter Charter Season in the Caribbean.  She was able to successfully complete the project on a very tight budget and even tighter time frame.  The yacht successfully attended the Charter Show, and came away with several committed charters on the books. 

Another eclectic aspect of Peg’s career was as a Chef aboard several private and charter yachts.  Her design skills were easily apparent in her flare with “tablescapes” and food presentation, as well as the details of floral arranging and stateroom decoration. 

She completed an A.S.I.D. certificate program in Boston in the early 80’s, however, she never had the opportunity to pursue a professional career in interior design and decorating until more recently.  Peg spent 10 years in Corporate Bank Marketing for a major bank in Boston as a Marketing Officer, and then moved to the Caribbean island of St. Thomas to build custom homes on spec.   

Since her move to South Florida 9 years ago, she has been able to realistically pursue her design interests.

She loves the challenge of home staging and redesign, and finds great satisfaction in helping Home Owners realize their goals to sell their properties quickly and at a higher profit.

On the completion of several of her redesign projects of rental properties, the Owners have asked Peg to stay on with them as their Personal Property Manager.  She continues
to manage their properties.

Peg currently lives in Coconut Creek with her sweet and adorable 4 year old Maltipoo named Luca.
